2023 Sponsorship Opportunities

All sponsorship funds go towards supporting the Maine Harvest Bucks program, which improves the nutrition and food security of over 10,000 people across Maine. In the last 2 years, low-income households accessed over $440,000 from farmers’ markets through MHB. Farmers’ markets received $1.2 million in sales from SNAP and Maine Harvest Bucks combined. Maine Harvest Bucks fights food insecurity while boosting local economies, and helps boost positive health and nutrition outcomes for people with low-incomes.

Sponsoring Maine Harvest Bucks is a statewide investment in Maine’s local food economy, food security, and community resilience across Maine. In 2023, MHB will be offered at 50 farmers’ markets and 15 farm stands from Kittery to Madawaska and Calais. 

Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Maine’s 120+ farmers’ markets through technical assistance, information sharing, capacity building, and promotions.
